Data Collection and Use

We collect personal information from you when you initially join the program.  This information includes your name, address, age, email, and preferred logon information.  This information is used in classifying and verifying legitimate users, as well as for award redemption.  In addition, we place a cookie on your hard drive each time you visit or logon to our web site.  This cookie allows us to track which purchases you have made so that we can credit your account with the points you have earned as well as display personalized information to you about your account.  We do not track the cookies for any other purposes.

Access to Your Data

Access to your data is restricted to AirMilesMart, Inc. employees and will be limited to only those employees who need the data to perform their job.  Occasionally your data may be viewed by authorized auditors or consultants in the course of their work for the company.  This data will be kept confidential and only used to in the course of their work for our site.  We also reserve the right to provide your data to any government or law enforcement agency who has legally requested it.

Email Policies

We give you the option both on joining the program, and at any time thereafter, to opt out of promotional emails from the company.  If you opt out, you will continue to receive emails essential to the maintenance of your account and any changes in the program.   If you opt in, you will periodically receive newsletters, details of special promotions, and updates of your points status from AirMilesMart, Inc..

Privacy of our Merchants

AirMilesMart contains links to various other sites.  Each site has a unique privacy policy that may be different then that of AirMilesMart, Inc..  These policies are not covered in this privacy policy, and AirMilesMart, Inc. holds no responsibility or accountability for their policies.  AirMilesMart, Inc. will not share the personal information you provided on registration to these merchants.  The only information that will be conveyed to the merchants, or the merchant network, will be that required to properly credit points to your account for your purchases.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining accurate personal information and informing us of any changes.  You can change your personal information on the account information page, or opt out of the entire program at any time by emailing service@airmilesmart.com.  You are also responsible for frequently reviewing the Privacy Policy, which will be easily accessible on the AirMilesMart web site.  We will post any changes of this policy on our site.  Your continued use of the site after the changes have been posted constitutes your agreement to the changes.
